Let’s transform layovers from mundane, unavoidable, interruptions into vibrant, enriching experiences that foster creativity, connection, and professional growth for live painters.

Layover Events is a series of in-person, immersive events for live painters to pause, connect, create, and get inspired with other artists, industry leaders, and innovators. These 2-3 day workshops are packed with educational panels, dinners, and valuable connections for artists worldwide.

LAYOVER: Maine is here! Join us at Tops’l Farm in Waldoboro, Maine, from August 10th–13th, 2026. Taking place in coastal Maine, we'll gather for an elevated outdoor retreat. Think: summer art camp but with glamping and farm-to-table food. This event will be skills-focused, with multiple workshops each day centered around plein air painting. JAN 27th - 29th, 2026

LAYOVER: Savannah is here! Join us in Savannah, GA from January 27th - 29th, 2026. This three-day retreat will be led by fashion illustrator, Jessica Durrant, where we’ll explore fashion illustration and mixed-media techniques. Alongside Jessica, industry leaders Tara Skinner and Chloe Campbell will share their insights on building a brand in the wedding industry, while Laurie Lindsey will cover the business side of being an artist.
